EMBO workshop: Cell Biology of the Nervous System

The exploration of the cell biological aspects of nervous system development, function and health continues delivering groundbreaking pieces of information that push forward our understanding of brain function and disease. The 2025 Cell Biology of the Nervous System workshop will focus on cellular aspects of communication within the developing, adult and diseased nervous system. In this meeting, we are excited to provide a vital forum for the exchange of cutting-edge research in the broad field of neuronal cell biology, with a great attention to novel techniques and emerging views. Throughout the meeting, we highlight how new insight into cellular function brings novel perspectives into the causes of disease of the nervous system.

This workshop is part of a series of successful EMBO Cell Biology of the Nervous System meetings, with a strong tradition fostering a lively and active exchange between scientists at all levels. It provides an excellent forum for exchange, learning, establishing new collaborations and for presenting ideas that will shape the future of the cell biology of the neuron.
