NeuroDoWo

The NeuroDoWo is a workshop organized by doctoral students for doctoral students. The GNS promotes the NeuroDoWo both with logistic and financial support.

The NeuroDoWo was founded in 1990 by Randolf Menzel, Hans-Joachim Pflüger and Joachim Erber. It was originally organized to provide a forum for doctoral students in neuroscience to discuss their projects and to make new contacts. Since then, the NeuroDoWo has been organized annually for doctoral students, by doctoral students of the hosting university, and without assistance from professors and postdocs. Apart from two invited senior speakers, the program includes contributions from students only.
